The OTHER Minnesota DVDs

The other day we posted about the infamous DVDs against marriage equality that Archbishop Nienstedt, of St. Paul, sent last year to over 400,000 Catholic households in Minnesota.

We forgot to mention the other DVDs that are circulating in Minnesota these days, from Catholics for Marriage Equality MN.  As the group’s name indicates, these DVDs are PRO-marriage equality–from a Catholic perspective.

Michael Bayly, the Executive Coordinator for Catholics for Marriage Equality MN, describes the DVD:

“Called ‘Catholics for Marriage Equality,’ this DVD is comprised of five powerful video vignettes of faith, family and marriage offered from the perspective of LGBT Catholics and their loved ones.

“To view all five short videos, see: http://c4me.org/resources/video/c4me/c4meindex.html

“To read about the September 29, 2011 premiere of the series at Minneapolis’ Riverview Theater, see: http://thewildreed.blogspot.com/2011/10/minneapolis-and-online-premiere-of.html.”

The videos are also available on YouTube.com.  Here’s one:

Michael Bayly and his colleagues in Minnesota are doing a great job of educating people about what the majority of Roman Catholics in this country think and feel about marriage equality:  they’re for it!
