A German priest has been granted Vatican permission to assume a university leadership to which he was elected earlier this year after, permission which first had been withheld over the priest’s views on homosexuality and women.
A German priest elected to university leadership has yet to receive necessary approval from the Vatican that would allow him to assume the rectorship. Observers speculate this withholding might be caused by the priest’s progressive views on LGBT issues.
