She has an MSW from the University of Pittsburgh and a MS in Nonprofit Administration from Sacred Heart Univerty in Puerto Rico. Before serving in leadership, she spent over 30 years serving the elderly in New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico and Texas. Am I really made glorious in God’s sight?
We claim our voice and presence to both embrace and open our doors to welcome those who have been marginalized.
We make choices now that can bridge our divisions.
“You are my Beloved, my chosen one! You are made in my image and likeness.”
Of the three main characters in the story—the father, the elder son, the younger son—which do we each think best reflects my experience?
How often we can, as LGBTQIA+ persons and allies, resonate with this feeling of living on the “edge of the inside”!
Identifying with those on the margins, I don’t need nor want to defend myself. I am much freer here knowing I am blessed everyday walking with Jesus who chose to live on the margins.
