‘One Body, Many Parts’: New Ways Ministry’s Podcast Launch!

New Ways Ministry is happy to announce the launch of our first podcast series, entitled One Body, Many Parts, a program examining topics of Catholic LGBTQ+ news, opinion, ministry and spirituality.

In honor of Pride month and the Jubilee Year of Hope, which the global Catholic Church is celebrating in 2025, we named our first podcast episode “Boasting in Our Hope: Pride as Pilgrimage,” taking inspiration from a passage in St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans which inspired Pope Francis to declare th theme of the Jubilee: Spes non confundit (Hope does not disappoint).  Romans 5:3-5 reads:

“. . .  3 [W]e even boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance, and endurance, proven character, and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the holy Spirit that has been given to us.”
