Edward Tick's book "War and the Soul" is receiving much praise and comment, and even got Richard invited to address the Army Chaplains. 

He finds that there is much in this book that applies to former priests and religious and our relationship to the institutional church.

Come prepared to be stimulated, inspired, and drawn into deeper levels of your own soul work.  The retreat will include lecture, prayer, guided quiet time, and dialogue sessions with Richard and with on another.

Richard Rohr, OFM, is a Franciscan priest and internationally
known inspirational speaker.  He is best known for his writings on spirituality and his audio and videorecordings .  Scripture as liberation, the integration of action and contemplation, community building, peace and justice issues, male spirituality,
the Enneagram and eco-spirituality are themes that he addresses in his writing and preaching.  Fr. Rohr founded the New Jerusalem Community in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1971 and the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1986, where he presently serves as Founding Director. He is a contributing editor and writer for Sojourners Magazine.
